    Retro Surf... Retro Dance... Retro Cool...The home of the endless summer brings you the endless party.  From frosty cool rum runners and piña coladas to Shark Bar's signature beach pail punch, pick your libation to unwind and hit the beach. Kick back on the deck and hit the surf; it's the perfect party.                    


    We are looking for a talented individual to join our entertainment team as a Host to get the crowd hyped and people on the dance floor and sell beveages by a "beer tub."



    Includes, but not limited to:


    • Must be willing and able to show that you are energetic, outgoing, fun person while maintaining professionalism at all times. Must be willing to provide outstanding and professional service with a smile to ensure contribution to the atmosphere of the venue. 
    • Communicate with guests clearly, patiently and with good humor. 
    • Attends practices to ensure organized choreography is learned for performing in front of venue crowds.
    • Dances during open hours of venue to draw guests to get on the dance floor.
    • Greet all guests and take beverage orders in a prompt and professional manner. 
    • Accurately account for all sales and payments from the guest. 
    • Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments.


    Prior experience with dancing in public performances preferred. Must have knowledge of musical trends and relevant dances and be comfortable dancing in public.  Must be at least the age of 18, if required to serve alcohol, age must be appropriate per state regulations.



    • Must be courteous, pleasant, and good natured. 
    • Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with guests, bartender, wait staff, cooks, and supervisors.
    • Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required by local or state government agency.
    • Reading and writing abilities are utilized often when taking orders, completing paperwork, etc.
    • Basic math skills are frequently used when handling cash and credit.
    • May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.

    This job requires the ability to perform the following:

    • Be able to stand and dance for long periods of time.
    • Handling, carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds (bar ware, carts, boxes, bottles, etc.).
    • Must be able to efficiently and safely stand and move about the entire facility during each shift.
    • Bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting.
